DAY 1 -Arusha in Arusha
Karibu Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and after completing passport control, step outside the arrival lounge to meet your private driver who will be transferring you to your accommodation in Arusha, a journey of approximately 60-75 minutes. Once you’ve checked in, take the opportunity to unwind and enjoy a tranquil afternoon/evening, immersing yourself in the beauty of the surrounding landscape, as you prepare to embark on your Tanzania adventure!

DAY 2: Tarangire National Park – Land of Giants and Baobabs
After an early breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive from Arusha. Famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, Tarangire offers some of Tanzania’s most distinctive landscapes and exceptional wildlife viewing.
The park’s lifeblood, the Tarangire River, attracts large concentrations of animals during the dry season, creating spectacular game viewing opportunities. You’ll have the chance to observe elephants in family groups, graceful giraffes browsing on acacia trees, and an impressive variety of bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the sun begins to set, we’ll transfer to the Marera Valley for a relaxing evening.

DAY 3: Karatu/Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park – Game Drive En Route
After breakfast, depart from Karatu and drive towards Serengeti National Park through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you make your way across the changing landscapes, enjoy a game drive en route, with opportunities to spot wildlife such as zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, and various antelope species. Continue into the Serengeti, arriving for an afternoon game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti – Game Drive
After breakfast, clients will depart from Central Serengeti and drive towards Northern Serengeti. The journey offers an excellent opportunity for game viewing as the route passes through diverse Serengeti landscapes. Enjoy game drives along the way, with chances to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife. Arrive in Northern Serengeti in the afternoon and continue with an evening game drive before heading to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: Full day enjoying game drive in Northern Serengeti Great Migration -Game Drives
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Northern Serengeti, exploring the wildlife-rich plains, river valleys, and remote landscapes where the Great Migration unfolds. Follow large herds of wildebeest and zebras as they move across the northern Serengeti in search of fresh grazing and water. Along the way, your experienced driver-guide will carefully track the animals and look for unforgettable wildlife encounters.
The region offers excellent opportunities to witness dramatic river crossings, particularly along the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather before making the challenging crossing. Watch as crocodiles wait in the waters while predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas take advantage of the abundance of prey. Between sightings, enjoy the spectacular scenery, open grasslands, rocky kopjes, and seasonal river landscapes of Northern Serengeti.

DAY 6: Full-Day Great Migration Experience in Northern Serengeti
Spend another full day exploring Northern Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives focused on experiencing the Great Migration. Set out early when wildlife activity is at its peak, following large herds of wildebeest and zebras as they move across the plains in search of fresh grazing and water.
Continue towards the Mara River, one of the most spectacular locations to witness the migration. Depending on the movement of the herds and river conditions, you may have the opportunity to see thousands of wildebeest and zebras gathering along the riverbanks before making the dramatic crossing. Watch as the animals face strong currents, steep riverbanks, and waiting Nile crocodiles, creating one of Africa’s most unforgettable wildlife spectacles.
After the river-crossing experience, continue with a game drive through the surrounding plains, keeping an eye out for predators including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive, taking in the breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife of Northern Serengeti before returning to your camp for the evening

DAY 7: Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti – Game Drive
After breakfast, depart from Northern Serengeti and begin the drive toward Central Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive en route, exploring the changing landscapes and looking for wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, and predators such as lions and cheetahs.
Afternoon: Continue toward Central Serengeti with further wildlife viewing along the way. The drive offers excellent opportunities to observe the abundant wildlife of the Serengeti plains before arriving at your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Tukaone Tented Camp (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
DAY 8: Serengeti Central to Ngorongoro Crater
Depart from Central Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a scenic game drive along the way. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive, exploring its abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and rhinos. After the crater experience, ascend and continue to the lodge or camp outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight.
The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Formed from an ancient volcanic caldera, the crater is surrounded by steep walls and supports a remarkable concentration of wildlife. Its fertile grasslands, forests, wetlands, and Lake Magadi provide habitats for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino.

DAY 9: Karatu to Arusha – Lunch & Airport Transfer
After breakfast, depart from Karatu and drive to Arusha, enjoying the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania along the way. Upon arrival in Arusha, enjoy lunch and some time to relax before continuing to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. Your safari driver will ensure a comfortable and timely transfer to the airport.
