DAY 1: – Tarangire National Park – Land of Giants and Baobabs – overnight Tarangire
After an early morning flight from Zanzibar, you will arrive at Arusha Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. From here, begin your scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse landscapes.

Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive through the park while searching for a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. A picnic lunch will be served at a designated site within the park, allowing you to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

DAY 2: – Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park and enjoy a full-day game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, including the lush groundwater forest, open woodland, floodplains, and lakeshore areas. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, baboons, and the famous tree-climbing lions.

Continue toward the shores of Lake Manyara, where, depending on the season and water levels, you may see flamingos gathering along the lake, together with pelicans, storks, herons, and many other bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic site before continuing with an afternoon game drive.

Later in the afternoon, exit the park and drive to Karatu, a charming town located near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, check in at Marera Valley Lodge, where you will have time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

DAY 3:  – Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will be among the very first vehicles descending the 600-meter (2,000-ft) walls of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable morning of game viewing.

Wildlife experiences don’t get much better than the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most iconic safari destinations. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this vast bowl-shaped caldera was formed two to three million years ago when a massive volcano erupted and collapsed. Today, its fertile crater floor supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, powerful black-maned lions, magnificent elephant tuskers, large herds of buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and many other plains game. One notable absence is the giraffe—a fascinating mystery you’ll learn more about during your visit.

After your exciting crater game drive and a picnic lunch, you will continue your journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive itself is a rewarding safari experience, as you’ll enjoy an en-route game drive through the beautiful landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before entering the endless plains of the Serengeti. Keep your camera ready, as you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and predators along the way. You will arrive at your lodge or camp in the late afternoon, with time to relax and soak in the breathtaking wilderness before dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 4 :- Full day enjoying game drive in Serengeti Central
Morning and afternoon enjoying game drive in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti central is Lying at the heart of this spectacular National Park, Central Serengeti is known for its abundant wildlife, large numbers of big cats and quintessential Serengeti landscapes of acacia-studded savanna. Resident wildlife makes this part of the Serengeti a fantastic year-round destination!

DAY 5:  –Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti – Migration
After breakfast, depart from Central Serengeti and begin your scenic drive toward Northern Serengeti, enjoying a game drive throughout the journey. This is an exciting part of the safari as you follow the movements of the Great Migration, with thousands of wildebeest and zebras travelling north in search of fresh grazing and water.

As you cross the Serengeti plains, keep your eyes open for large herds gathering in open grasslands, as well as resident wildlife including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The journey offers excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife viewing, with every stretch of the road bringing the possibility of new sightings.

Continue toward the Northern Serengeti and Kogatende area, where the landscape becomes more rugged and the Mara River provides an important lifeline for migrating animals. Depending on the timing and movement of the herds, you may have the opportunity to witness wildebeest and zebras gathering along the riverbanks or attempting a dramatic river crossing.

Arrive in Northern Serengeti later in the afternoon and continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 6:  Northern Serengeti Migration & Mara River Crossing
Morning:
After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive through Northern Serengeti. Explore the migration routes as large herds of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing and water. Keep watch for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and other wildlife following the herds.

Midday: Continue toward the Mara River, one of the most dramatic locations of the Great Migration. Depending on the animals’ movements and river conditions, spend time observing herds gathering along the riverbanks and crossing points. River crossings are naturally unpredictable, but when they occur, they offer spectacular opportunities to witness wildebeest and zebras battling strong currents and avoiding crocodiles.

Afternoon: Continue with game drives around the northern Serengeti, following the migration and searching for predators taking advantage of the concentration of animals. Enjoy photography opportunities and the spectacular scenery before returning to your camp in the late afternoon.

DAY 7: – Fly from Kogatende Airstrip to Arusha / Lunch in Arusha / Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast, transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha. Enjoy spectacular aerial views of the Serengeti plains and the Great Rift Valley during the journey. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be met by our representative and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch. Afterward, continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will check in for your onward flight back home, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari adventure.
